For over six generations the Roguet family has been cultivating approximately 7 hectares of vines solely located in the Mailly Champagne vineyard, right in the heart of the Montagne de Reims.
The Roguet vineyard is composed of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes.
Samuel inherited from his grandfather in 2000 and took the plunge with passion, knowledge and determination. He chose to make financial investments in order to master every stage in the wine-making process, from harvest to marketing on the estate. He then became an independent wine-maker. Environment-conscious and concerned about the transmission to the future generations, he has turned to sustainable agricultural methods.
Very sensitive to wine ageing and maturation, Samuel rapidly integrated wood and stainless steel to perfect the process. He thus discovered the magic of blending varieties to perpetuate the subtle balance of ROGUET champagnes and also give birth to some rare bottles.
The ROGUET style is characterised by a distinctive and long-lasting freshness while revealing the powerful aromas of a unique terroir.
